Vintage Persian rug, low pile wool.

Features a central medallion woven in earthy terracotta tones with a deep charcoal field. There are hints of emerald green, cream, and soft pink. It shows a floral, bird and both motifs throughout. In some Persian rug designs, birds are depicted alongside other protective symbols, such as amulets or talismans, to ward off evil spirits and bring good fortune to the household. Birds are believed to possess spiritual qualities that can protect the home and its inhabitants from harm.This rug is in good vintage condition.
