Handwoven vintage Persian rug

Handwoven wool low pile Persian rug. Measures 4’10”x6’. Features a two central medallions with tree of life, floral motifs and a triple border. This rug has a muted palette of terracotta, brown and sage. The rug is in good vintage condition.

Tree of Life motifs are among the most meaningful symbols in Persian rug design, representing growth, renewal, and the connection between earth and the divine. Typically depicted as a central tree with branching limbs, the motif often reaches upward, symbolizing a link between the physical and spiritual worlds.
