Handwoven vintage Persian rug

Handwoven wool low pile Persian runner rug. Measures 10’5”x3’8”. Features repeating central diamond medallions, tree of life, and evil eye motifs. This rug has a muted earhty field with pops of deep indigo, terracottas, and sage. The rug is in good vintage condition.

The Tree of Life motif is one of the most meaningful symbols in Persian rug design. Representing growth, immortality, and the connection between heaven and earth, it often features a central trunk with blooming branches reaching upward. Woven into vintage rugs, this motif reflects spiritual themes and the enduring cycle of life, adding both beauty and depth to each piece.
