Handwoven vintage Persian rug

Handwoven wool low pile Persian rug. Measures 5’10”-6’1” x 3’10”. Features three central medallions with floral and fertility motifs and a thick border. This rug has a field of muted pink with hints of chocolate and camel throughout. The rug is in good vintage condition. Please note the size, as the length varies slightly.

In Persian tribal rugs, the evil eye motif is often integrated with other protective symbols such as stars, flowers, or animals. The repetition is believed to amplify its protective power. Beyond protection from the evil eye, these motifs can also symbolize good luck, spiritual protection, and the strength of the community.
