Handwoven wool pile vintage Persian rug.

Features three central medallions woven in earthy soft browns and deep indigo with a blush terracotta field. Shows a floral, fertility, and both motifs throughout. The both motif resembles a teardrop or a curved almond shape with a pointed end. In Persian culture, it is often interpreted as a symbol of fertility, growth, and abundance. The shape is reminiscent of a sprouting seed or a young shoot, representing the cycle of life and the promise of renewal. This rug is in good vintage condition. Shows a mend, see photos.
