Handwoven vintage Persian rug

Handwoven wool low pile Persian area rug. Measures 8’2”x 4’10”. Features five central diamonds and a variety of motifs woven throughout. This rug has a deep indigo and charcoal field with red and creams throughout. The rug is in good vintage condition.

In tribal rugs, the evil eye motif is typically depicted as a circular design with concentric rings or a single eye-like symbol at its center.
