Features five central medallions with tree of life motifs and a blush field.  This is a multi-color rug with hints of indigo tones and pink. Shows evil eye motifs throughout. The primary purpose of the evil eye motif in Persian rugs is to ward off negative energy and protect the rug's owner from harm. By incorporating this symbol into the rug's design, weavers aim to create a talismanic object that safeguards the household against jealousy, envy, and ill will. This rug is in good vintage condition.
