Handwoven vintage Persian rug

Handwoven wool low pile heavy weight Persian rug. Measures 8'8"x4'8". Features three central medallions with a double border and tree of life motifs. This rug has a deep charcoal field with pops of bright terracotta and muted earthy tones. The rug is in good vintage condition.

The Tree of Life motif represents the interconnectedness of life, growth, and resilience, with roots reaching deep into the earth and branches extending toward the heavens. In rugs and textiles, the Tree of Life is often depicted with elaborate branches, leaves, and flowers, symbolizing the journey of the soul, renewal, and abundance.
