Handwoven vintage Persian rug

Handwoven wool low pile Persian runner rug. Features three central medallions on a field of indigo with a geometric border. This rug shows primarily geometric evil eye motifs woven throughout with deep indigo and soft blush. The rug is in good vintage condition, shows some wear.

The evil eye symbol, also known as "nazar," is believed to ward off harmful energy or jealousy directed at the owner. It serves as a protective talisman against misfortune and ill will.
